In the month of January, I was able to read quite a bit of books. Reflecting back, there were ones that I loved and others not so much. Here are my favorite books that I absolutely loved reading during the month of January.
- Still Alice: The author had such a compelling way in telling this story about a 50-year old woman who learns that she has early-onset Alzheimer’s. This piece really moved me.
- Inside Anne Frank’s House: A non-fiction text that really opened my eyes up more to the horrors that Anne Frank, her family, and many others suffered during WWII.
- We Are the Ants: Such a great story that I loved picking up and hated to put down about a boy who has the power to save his planet, but does he think it’s worth it?
These are all books that I would recommend to many readers out there!
