So, this is my very first tag and I feel absolutely privileged and ecstatic! I want to thank Sophie @ Blame Chocolate for the tag and I hope to do this post justice. Thank you! If you haven’t checked out Sophie’s blog, give it a visit – it’s a pretty awesome site!

- Tag other people to do this tag to spread the love!
Reading on the couch or on the bed?
I like super comfy areas for reading, so bed it is for me.
Male main character or female main character?
I don’t have a preference. I have enjoyed both and as long as they are written well, then I’m good. Though, I will say I enjoy the read more when there is a strong female lead.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks?
Absolutely sweet snacks! Chocolate should really be my middle name, lol.
Trilogies or quartets?
Tricky. I think I prefer trilogies. There’s something about an odd number that intrigues when it comes to a series.
First person POV or third POV?
Oh boy…another tricky one. I like both as long as it’s done well.
Reading at night or in the morning?
I love reading any time of the day!
Libraries or bookstores?
Both? I love just trying out new books and reading at the library, but I also love buying books.
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
Hm…I have not found a book that has made me laugh a lot or even cry a lot. But, if I had to pick happy versus sad, then I’d go happy!
Black book covers or white covers?
At first, I was thinking ‘black or white covers, really?’ But, now? I think I prefer black covers since white seems like there’s too much empty space.
Character driven or plot driven?
Both – as long as the book has been done well, then I enjoy both character-driven and plot-driven books.

Hi! Oops, sorry about the double tag. I didn’t realize that you had done this one already. Thank you for letting me know! I’ll go check yours out now.
I did become really sad at the end of ‘Marley and Me’ and ‘Still Alice’, but I don’t think I was full-on crying. You know what made me blubber like a baby? When I watched ‘The Fault in Our Stars’! I read the book afterwards, which is unusual for me, but I went to watch the movie with my fiancé (now husband) and I literally was hysterical at the end! I couldn’t even leave the theater right away because of how emotional I became.
Anyway, on a happier note, I have not blubbered like that since then! 😀
Thank you again for reading and commenting!

No worries. I appreciate it. If it were different questions, I would have totally answered and re-posted! Thank you.
I haven’t read Fault yet… hmm… might need to give that a try. sometimes it’s good to let it out. 🙂

I do remember reading the book afterward and I wasn’t as emotional, but I think that might have been because I had let it all out with the movie that I wasn’t as shocked while reading.
If you do read it, I look forward to hearing what you think!

I will definitely read before watching the movie. Just have such a backlog of books on my TBR… insanity! 🙂

Definitely read before watching. I can understand the backlog of books to read! It’s a problem I face as well, so no worries. 🙂

YES, I see chocolate in there!! *high five* I can tell these answers were equally hard for you… I see a lot of “both” XD But don’t worry, it was the exact same for me… It’s so hard to choose!
Great post, Heidi! 😊 And thank you so much for the shout out ❤
P.S.: Oh this tag was not created by me! Please replace my name with Ayunda @ Tea and Paperbacks and link to her blog: https://teaandpaperbacks.wordpress.com/2016/02/22/this-or-that-tag-original-tag/ She's the creator. Sorry about the confusion! ^^'

Chocolate is the best! It was so hard to choose just one answer! Thank you for reading and commenting! 🙂
Oops…sorry about that, I misunderstood. I will fix that now. Thank you for the heads up!

No problem! ^^
And no worries, all these tag rules can get pretty confusing sometimes 😉 (I almost missed it, too)
Looking forward to more of these posts on your blog! ❤

Hmmm… I want to say that I don’t mind whether the main character is male or female… but when I look back at all my favourite books, the vast majority of them are female lead. Interesting! I hadn’t thought about it before!

That’s actually interesting because I wrote that I didn’t prefer one over the other at first, then I thought about it some and realized that I tend to enjoy the books more when there is a strong female lead, so I added that line. Looks like we’re on the same page!
Thank you for reading and commenting! 🙂
