Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great day!
I was recently tagged by Sophie @Blame it on Chocolate to complete the Disney Princess Book Tag. It is such a cute tag and I was excited to dive in! If you haven’t checked out Sophie’s blog yet, please take a moment and check it out! It’s one that I enjoy visiting.
- Mention where you saw the tag/thank whoever tagged you because that’s always good fun
- Tag Book Princess Reviews and Zuky with our posts so we can check out the wonderful Princess fun throughout the blog world (Book Princess Reviews is this link and Zuky’s is here)
- Play a game of tag at the end!
This Book (like the Movie) Started It All
Favorite Debut Book From an Author
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was the book that started it all for me. If it wasn’t for this book (and eventual series), I don’t know if I would be the avid reader that I am today.
A Diamond in the Rough
Just Like Cinderella, You Either Didn’t Expect Much Out of This Character in the Beginning But Turned Out to Be a Total Jem
A Book That Makes You Sleepy or Just Could Not Hold Your Attention
I had read The Bluest Eye with my in-person book club, and I’m not sure what it was, but it took me sooo long to finish it. It has been a while since I’ve read it, but I remember that every page just dragged. I don’t know if it was the writing style, the storyline, or I picked terrible times to read. What I do know is that everyone else in my in-person book club also felt the same way, lol!
The Thief and the Princess
Name Book with an Unlikely Love Story (Either in Terms of Romance or a Book You Didn’t Expect to Love So Much)
The Real Life Princess
Name a Book that is Based on a Real Life Person You Want to Read/Have Read
As I was going through my Goodreads list, I remembered this one. It was shortly after I read The Fault in Our Stars that I found This Star Won’t Go Out. It was such a sweet, but sad book and one that I remember devouring fairly quickly.
The Princess With The Coolest And Most Diverse Crew
Name a diverse book whether it is a diverse set of characters (like Tiana’s group of Naveen, Louis, Ray, and more) or just diverse in general
I Determine My Own Fate
A Book Where There is No Love Story/Interest or Isn’t Needed
A Book in the Winter/Cold Setting
Most of The Great Alone takes place in Alaska. They do experience some milder weather during the summer months. However, most of the year, it’s cold and dark, so I thought it would be appropriate for this category.
How Far I’ll Go
A Character That Goes on a Journey
As always, no pressure in completing this tag. If you haven’t been tagged, but want to participate, then go for it. 🙂
Thank you so much for reading and until next time!
