Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been not around the blogging world for a bit. There are a few reasons why, and I would like to share that with you here.
- My hubby, our fur baby, and I are transitioning back home from being overseas for the past two and a half years! Though it’s an exciting adventure to come back home, it’s an emotionally draining one, as well. We had sold our house, our cars, and furniture before we left, so we are starting from scratch. Good news? We now have a car! Not great news? The house we liked a lot fell through. Hopefully, after the New Year, we’ll have more options as the market isn’t so great in the area we’re looking in right now.
- As we are transitioning back, we have been visiting and spending time with our loved ones. It’s been wonderful, but it leaves little room for blogging.
- I had my four wisdom teeth pulled out last week. Though I did not swell and had no complications, I was not in the mood to do too much for several days.
- Then, there was Thanksgiving and we had spent most of the time with family and friends this past weekend.
On the very positive side, we were able to spend some time with our little girl at her grandma’s. This, of course, made us miss Zoey even more and we’re counting down the days when we get to have her back full time. By the way, she turned six this past Saturday! Such a big girl! 😍
Some exciting things are happening and we’re trying to reach some stability, but we still have a ways to go. The good thing is we can expect to have our Zoey back after the New Year as we plan on staying over a friend’s house, while we search for a home.
I plan on keeping up with my blog from now on, but I guess you never know!
Thank you for reading and here’s to more reading on the path to stability!
