Weekend Reads – March 12-14, 2021

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the temperature is wonderful! What a great way to start the weekend. That and some really good reading. Happy Friday!

Weekend Reads is where I will concentrate on just one of the books I’m reading during the weekend rather than trying to balance multiple ones at once. So many times I say, “I’ll read only one chapter of this book and then I go to the next one” or “I want to read halfway through this book before I can read my other one.” My goal is just enjoy what I’m reading and not stress about how much time I’m devoting to every book or how many chapters I’m reading for each book.

For this weekend I’m planning to focus on…

Namesake (Fable #2) by Adrienne Young is an ARC that I received from NetGalley recently and am ready to start reading!

Why this read?

This was my Weekend Read last weekend as well. Why is it back? Simply because I haven’t finished it and am loving it! Fable is a great character and one that I feel like I could be friends with, even when she gets herself mixed up in situations that perhaps she shouldn’t have. The storytelling is one that keeps me invested and wanting to continue reading. Lastly, I love the romance built into the story. So far it isn’t too much for me, but a good balance to know that there is this strong, loyal love that can make a girl swoon. 😄😍

My goal is to finish up the book by the end of this weekend, just in time to write a review before its publication date on the 16th.

Can’t wait to get back at it!

Happy Weekend Reading!
