Rating System

My Rating System:

With each book I read and review, I will give it a rating. The ratings will use the following number of stars. I will always justify my rating, however, you do not have to agree.

5-star-review
– Loved everything about this book
– Clear to see it was professionally edited
– Can see myself looking up other books by the same author
– Highly recommend it to many

4-star-review
– Really liked most of the book
– Clear to see it was edited, with the exception of a couple minor errors
– May look up other books by the same author
– Would recommend it to many

3-star-review
– Liked some of the book, but did not like several other parts
– There a number of errors and could use another round of editing
– Do not have in interest looking up other books by the same author
– May recommend it to some

2-star-review
– Didn’t enjoy most of the book, except for one or two aspects
– Too many errors can be found and it destroys the enjoyment of the book
– Would not recommend it most

1-star-review
– Didn’t like any aspect of the book
– It’s pretty much a disaster. Should not be published until a major editing takes place
– Would not recommend to anyone
– Felt sorry that I read it

OnlineBookClub (OBC) Rating System:

Because I review books on OnlineBookClub as both an Official Reviewer and now part of their Blogger Reviewer Program, I will also include a rating using their system on those specific books:

  • 4 out of 4 stars: Amazing!
  • 3 out of 4 stars: Good
  • 2 out of 4 stars: Fair
  • 1 out of 4 stars: Poor
